Disputes with supporting documents not done

On Friday 24 May, i went to the bank to open an account for my 6 month old daughter, so that i can save money for her. I also needed to dispute a debit order. i was at that bank for about 45 minutes with a guy who was in a very bad mood, he didn't even finish opening my daughter's acc and he passed me over to someone else because he wanted to go on lunch. we finished up with that lady and the account was opened then i wanted to reverse the debit order and i brought the supporting documents. they said to me, i have to go and get a letter from the company that is deducting my money. this was not the first time i reversed this debit order, it was the third time and i always asked them to block it. i gave them the statement proving that i had settled the account, but they still sent me to that company. they still haven't reversed my money.

whats the point of using a bank that will not protect your money when you bank with them.
i would rather switch banks and use a bank that will protect me and mine
