My mom ordered an iPad for me via FNB just a few days before christmas. I knew that they would probably be closed during that period, but I ordered anyways because I wanted to recieve it as early in January as possible.
The order went through and we were informed that it would only be processed in January.'
We then received news that the suppliers were "out of stock" and that we would have to wait an unspecified amount of time. After much hassle, they agreed to deliver in 7 working days and said the order had been processed. We have now been told (6 days in) that they still have no stock and cannot help us at this time, despite the previous agreement.
I am a medical student and desperately want to use the iPad for work purposes - on ward rounds, overnight calls etc.
We have always received good service from FNB, and I planned on staying with them when I qualify, but this experience has been so frustrating that I really doubt I will continue to bank with them.
