Money withdrawn from credit

I reported my credit card missing early December when we notice that R500 had been withdrawn from the account. Phoned the call centre and stop the card. A week later in December I requested another card to be printed. It took three weeks the card still was not delivered upon several calls to the call centre I was finally told that the card would be delivered 14th January. When the courier came I only had my I'd document and would not leave the card, he said I needed my pay slip and proof of residence, I arranged it the following day, he came and wouldn't leave the card again because the proof of residence was on an absa letterhead, he came back the third time today 17th and again would leave the card because he couldn't read the name on my payslip, but in the meantime my wife decided to check our card statement via Internet and discovered that on the 16th R100 was withdrawn from the credit card R50 at a time. Now how does this happen when the card is still in the position of the courier service. Virgin cannot offer any explanation or further info on where these monies were withdrawn. Not happy with the security level of virgin money.
