FNB don't care for existing customers

We applied for a homeloan on 07/05/2013. Intitially everything went smoothly until our application reached the credit dept. A turnaround time of 48hrs was promised but turned into more than a week. On 20/05/2013 a valuation was done on the property we want to purchase but 5 days later we are still waiting for final approval. Only response we get is a delay in the credit dept. I find this very strange as my brother, who is not an FNB client, applied for a loan on 17/05/2013 and had final approval by 23/05/2013. Seems like FNB tries to win new customers by giving good customer service while existing customers must just be patient and accept the total lack of customer service. Really disappointed in FNB. We've been clients for a long time and this is the first time I regretted banking with them. Just wondering what happens with the new customers once they join your bank. I doubt they will continue getting the same service as before.
