I applied who knows how long ago for the S4 deal and on the site it stated I will be contacted within 10 days. I received a sms stating it's under review on the 29/05 and was declined, after inquiries, today due to failed credit criteria (unspecified).
What irritates me is this: I can get a per-approved loan for R4000 right now and have to pay it back in a month but not R7000 over 24months?? How does that make sense at all?? Furthermore, why was there no problem in getting credit for the R200 pm I'm paying for banking fees if my credit is that terrible and why does the website state I need deposits of R5500 for approval when I have more than double that amount per month and still get declined?
What is most frustrating is the lack of feedback and when eventually giving feedback just then saying I was declined for credit reasons. The fact another account was in debt the last 3 months due to FNB's changing my banking package "automatically" is probably the reason for my bad credit!
CS was better when I joined but that's probably still the case as existing customers are getting a better deal on the S4! Don't want your phone anymore and if this keeps on not the accounts either!
