After my initial complaint on Fnb not even offering us a certain percentage bond approval, they came back telephonically with 80% which didnt help as we were offered 90% from Nedbank. A few days later and I received an email stating that the property we want to purchase has just been valuated by Fnb and they will get back to me with the final grant. Here I am thinking that Fnb have reconsidered our app. After almost 2 weeks of requesting paid up letters on an old Fnb credit card thats been settled in 2012 I still havent received an answer. Then I get a call from the Agent stating that Fnb has now requested the building plans etc for the Property we want to buy. When Ken asked what kind of offer they are looking at giving us, before he goes running after the owners for extra documents etc which could take a lot of time, Fnb homeloans stated an 80% bond approval. I am so disappointed as I know for a fact that the property is worth much more and I know we could easily afford this!! But this property isnt possible if we have to take out a personal loan for the short fall. This is so unfair! Highly disappointed! There goes our family home - thanks to FNB, the bank that "helps". Yeah right
