We have complained on the response from Absa due to a earth tremor that occurred in February 2013. We have been waiting ever since and after numerous calls and the complaining on HP, my wife received a call from a consultant to say that the tremor is not a earth quake?? We received this feedback nearly two weeks after the HP complaint. We then went on the internet and pulled the reports from news 24 and other news event from the same day and submitted it to Absa and again they just keep quiet. Absa is forever looking for reason to not paying out on claims and then when we complain they just do not reply. I am sure they are too busy playing Noot vir Noot and forgetting of their important customers. If they care. Why should we have a insurance to be getting excuses for them not to pay out on claims. Why does it take them so long to take such a bold dessision.
