ABSA: Quick to take money, NO interest in Serv. Del

I cancelled my life policy because of a better offer from a broker. I am a South African but live in Swaziland and out of loyalty to ABSA I make the effort to do all my banking in SA - that means a 170 km round trip 2 border crossings. I cancelled the first time approx 20 April. I was told the money owed to me will be deposited in my account after 10 working days. The due date came and went with no money. I went to Malelane again to sort it out. The same 10 day promise was given, but also that came and went. Tried for the third time today. Absa has lost my vote of confidence and it appears they are not interested in the customer satisfaction of a long-time loyal client such as myself. My loyalty have been thrown back in my face and I am concidering changing to a bank that ensures service - maybe a service provider in Swaziland. It seems like the banks in this 3rd world country has a better commitment to customer sattisfaction than a supposedly first world institution like Absa.
