Got a vehicle insurance policy 3mnts back with Miway and opted for the cheapest option that i was made aware of by the salesman not knowing the implications of such an option as this was not fully explained to me by the salesman, all he wanted was a new client in this competetive industry his company is part of. The assesed value of the damage on my car is around R29000 and i am supposed to pay R24000 excess which is 10% of the value of my car. What it means is i have to fix the car on my own and surely i wouldn't have taken the policy if i fully understood what was expected of me. As it stands there is no point in me having vehicle insurance and the money that i have paid them has just gone down the drain. I have been reaped off and i am now in the process of terminating my policy with Miway
