I called in late in February 2013 to request for a reduction in my monthly vehicle insurance premium and spoke to a guy called Emmanuel. Unfortunately he was unable to assist me, so I instructed him to leave my policy as is. To my utter dismay, Emmanuel modified my policy while trying to "compare apples with apples" as he put it when comparing a lower quote I got from another insurance company. While trying to compare Miway's premium to the other quote I told him about, he changed my excess (it was was increased from R3000 to R3800), changed my vehicle cover from Retail value to Trade value, and also my car hire option was also removed! No where did I request any changes to be made to my policy! And I only found this out when I had to claim for an accident on my car in March. Please can you resolve this issue. Listen to the recording and see that I NEVER requested any of these changes to be made to my policy. My last words to Emmanuel were "Leave my policy as is". I dont know why I should suffer for this oversight. I need this issue resolved ASAP please.
