False advertising to get clients

I was with Virgin Money insurance for a few months, then mid last month a MiWay call center agent called me to give me a better premium. All good, i gave him the 10 minutes he asked for and he calculated a premium that was almost R100 less than what i was paying with Virgin. I then made him aware that i am paying no excess with Virgin Money and he told me i will get excess at that premium. I then jumped ship and joined my way because their premium was way better than what i was paying with Virgin.

6 days after joining MiWay (6 September 2013) i receive an email saying that my policy will no longer be excess but will be changed to the MiWay standard excess of R3300 taking effect on the 6th of October!

After leaving my previous insurance joining MiWay with the promise that i will still get the same policy at a less premium and 6 days into my policy with MiWay i receive such news, I feel it is unfair and i should have been made aware of this before i even jumped ship so i know what i am getting myself into. One thing i know for sure is that this was not decided this month and I wouldn't have left VIRGIN MONEY.

THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND I FEEL CHEATED!!!
