On the 14 May 2013 i called Metropolitan Life to Surrender my policy and they requested i send through documents with a certified copy of my id with 3 signatures which i did. 2 days later i receive a sms requesting the certified copy of my Id again, which i e-mailed and fax through on the 16 and 17 May 2013. Then once again the 18 May 2013 i receive that sms again... According to customer service it takes up to 7 days to be wind up Honestly i think the service.
