All I want to do by my own choice, legally, is to cancel my funeral cover with metropolitan but now they require me to send a certified copy with 3 of my signatures on the form I send them. Really? Is this so that they can commit with my ID and signature? Since when is it required to send such documents simply to legally cancel a policy? I have not heard of such stupid rules in my life and surely the people of South Africa should know of this. I refuse to send my ID with signatures and therefore will cancel my debit order and should you take it from the account again, I will take legal action since I already gave notice to cancel this policy legally and according to law.
