CONTACT AFTER 2 YEARS

I just received a call from Absa informing me that my account was being handed over and will be blacklisted. I would like to the what the f for. As far as i know my account with absa credit card is closed and paid off. I havent received a single statement or telephone call for the last 2 years and now out of the blue I get a call stating I need to pay before i get handed over. for???

I havent received any new credit card for the last 3/4 years, havent accessed my account and yet now out of the blue I receive a call to state my account is overdue. this is totally ridiculous. How can you make contact after 2/3 years and then say you getting handed over for blacklisting.
y didnt I receive a call for the last 2/3 years but you can call me now. this is total

what is being added to this account and I have no idea what im being charged for. No contact, havent had a new card in years. am i being billed for all these things.. why must i pay for fictticious charges.
