Eported to Standard Bank Emergency Call Center geyser in house burst and water was coming through ceiling because of the emergency as it was weekend call center phoned half an hour after report but still wasn't able to appoint a contractor to help with the emergency an hour later they phoned to inform me they got hold of a service provider who was able to assist Tuesday because of the emergency i suggested a local service provider and they approved it ref 9450553 was sent to me by Standard Bank Monday 8/4/13 the bank notified me with a claim ref 13/024693 and requested all quotations and invoices be sent to them by myself so they can pay me the money and i will pay the service provider after quotations was sent to them on 12/4/13 the bank notified me and confirmed they received all quotations and invoices outline of costs for replacement of 150 L geyser R11419.50 and water damage repairs R26497.42 Standard Bank paid out on 2/5/13 an amount of R4834.30 and on request i was notified that this was payment for replacement of geyser and they are not able to pay amount of R11419.50 on 3/5/13 i logged a complaint on their website and till now not getting any positive feedback
