Wrt my previous complaint, Zanende said he couldn't get hold of me. That is so far from the truth. I asked him to contact me during my lunch time at 12:30, but he did not phone me then. That just shows me what kind of commitment Capitec has...
From the 1st day I took up the loan in Oct 2012, there have been issues. After numerous queries which was left unanswered, it got to the point where I could take it no longer and had to settle the loan for my own sanity.
I went to the branch to get the settlement amount, and asked to negotiate a good settlement after all the hassles they gave me & their incompetence to solve my queries. Hendrik just pulled up his shoulders and said there is nothing he can do, what the system says is what I need to pay.
He then gave me a quotation, which was around R450 more than the balance owing as per their enquiry screen, "because of interest being calculated till 12 April", even though I want to settle it TODAY.
I'm so frustrated with their lack of compassion and effort!!! They really just couldn't care less.
I can't wait to get confirmation black on white that the loan has been settled...
