TERRIBLE SERVICE DELIVERY!!!

Settled a credit card on the 17th of April in order to close the account. Did everything they said i must, including phoning the card department in Johannesburg strait after the settlement and faxed through the payment confirmation as well as a cover letter requesting to close the account.

The next day, phoned the card department. They received the funds and requested account to be closed, operator said it will take 7 days for final closure. No problem. They promised to cancel the debit order from immediate effect.

The 25th came and they debited my account:( next day requested a reimbursement, they said it will be done in 24hours. Since then i have been to the branch a few times, phoned the card division numerous times and faxed through statements and id copies. Spoke to many operator's as wll as branch managers, always promising the refund immediately. To this day 15th May. No refund received!!!

I will never want to deal with African Bank again!! and i will not recommend them to anyone!! Terrible service delivery!!! Terrible System!! Im not a rude or demanding person but a person can only take so much untill you need to be!!!
