I have had to use the Standard Bank pension backed lending option (Plus Home Loan) recently and have promptly received feedback regarding the quotation for the loan.
The documents were signed with one of their consultants on 25 April 2013 and I was advised that a driver will be sent the following day to collect the documents and if everything is in order the deposit will be made within 10days. Almost 2 weeks later I have been informed by our HR that the documents have not yet been collected.
I've called Standard bank and they have advised that they will send an email to the consultant to ask why the documents were not collected and that's "the best they can do". They've also confirmed that I will still have to wait a further 10days after the collection of documents.
A real inconvenience!
