First National Bank
FNB's Flexi-Bond is a joke!

My troubles commenced on the 26th of April 2013 when I tried to access the pre-paid amount in my flexi-bond with FNB, I was asked to redo a flexi/pre-paid application. I protested - but was advised that this is the only way to access my funds. As a trust is involved, I had to supply a resolution, FICA docs for all trustees (ID & proof of res), Trust Deed, Proof of insurance as well as my own payslip. This was confirmed by Bernie Simmadari on the 2nd of May. Although I had to redo the resolution, I was asked to do a special resolution as variation of the loan agreement! This is simply ridiculous! Why can all the other Banks have a simple, customer friendly accessbond, revolve facility - but FNB gives the customer the run-around to access their money? As at today I still do not have my money available. My advise: DO NOT USE FNB or their FLEXI-BOND EVER!!
