Incompetent and Disgusting Service

Myself and my wife have applied for a Home Loan, which only got declined due to me not handling an account with AVAF. This to my surprise as i last had a car that was repo'd over 4 years back.

I had a car with AVAF over 4 years back. I called in 3 times to 0860669669 spoke to Refilwe 1st and she could not find any records of me having any car loan with ABSA. Eventually I gave my ID number and advised my account is visible but with legal, she gave me these numbers to call 0112216111/6668, there is no answer and it just rings.

Called in again spoke to Nadia and she verified my info again before referring me to a different lega number with once again no name to the firm, 0118469948/5. Same story no answer just rings.

3rd time spoke to Donovan, great consultant but once again unable to assist, giving me number for collections at ABSA and not telling me that they close at 16:30 adding to my frustrations.

I have a great credit record and now that i apparently owe ABSA why was i never notified or advised on this? i am being penalised for someones incompetence and refuse to be blamed for something i was not made aware of.
