SHOOOO 3MONTHS OF BACK AND FORTH WITH MT DECEASED DAD'S CLAIM FROM AIG. WHAT A TRAUMATISING EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD DEALING WITH AIG AND STANDARD BANK. INITIALLY MY CLAIM WAS REPUDIATED DUE TO A MEDICAL TERM THAT MEANS EXACTLY WHAT MY DAD HAD BUT BECAUSE OF THE JARGON IT WAS REPUDIATED. I RESEARCHED QUERIED AND I WAS REQUESTED MORE DOCUMENTS WHICH I SENT AND AGAIN IT WAS REPUDIATED FOR INCEPTION DATE APPARENTLY THE CONDITION WAS PRE EXISTING AT INCEPTION WHICH MAKES NO SENSE BECAUSE THEY'RE POLICY WORDING STIPULATES THAT THE POLICY CAN ONLY BE FOR MALES BETWEEN 18-50, BUT MY DAD WAS 57YRS AT INCEPTION. I HAVE RECEIVED A CALL NOW FROM THEM SAYING THAT ACTUALLY HE WAS COVERED TILL 75YRS. WHY ARE THEY SO QUICK TO CALL AND OFFER PEOPLE THAT THEY KNOW VERY WELL THAT THEY DON'T QUALIFY FOR POLICIES? I ASKED IF A MEDICAL EXAMINATION WAS DONE WHEN THEY PROVISIONED FOR HIM TO TAKE OUT THE POLICY AT AGE 57 AND I'M TOLD ITS NOT THEIR POLICY.
I HAVE A POLICY WORDING SENT BY THEM LAST WEEK DATED 2005 WHICH STATES THAT THEIR AGE LIMIT IS 18-50 AND NOW I'M TOLD IT'S ACTUALLY 75YRS. THIS IS PATHETIC AND NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND EXCUSES AND FACT THAT THEY FIND ANY REASON TO NOT PAY OUT
