I requested for an insurance quote with a MF broker. I received no confirmation of the policy however, I've been debited since April this year. I contacted MF and advised them that I was not aware of this policy and that I was already covered by Budget Insurance company. Itumeleng told me that this was illegal, and I am not allowed to have more than one policy. This was on 26 July, he requested for policy documents from Budget which I sent to him in order for this policy to be terkinated since inception. He gave me a turn around time of 5 working days for the refund of my paid premium, this is because I do not bank with FNB. To date I have not received any refund. I had called MF twice already and on both occasions I've been given different stories. When I explain to them that they are wrong, their agentsa get defensive and extremely rude with me.
