We arrived at the bank at 10am and were told to join the queue at enquiries when we told them we want to transfer money to ABSA. While waiting in the queue 3 times somebody came by and asked what we are in the queue for and we told them to transfer money. When we eventually reached the front after 45 minutes we were told that they don't do transfers after 10:30am. First time ever I heard of such nonsense. The lady then said she can give us a bank cheque and that it would be treated as cash by ABSA. We paid the money into our ABSA credit card only to find out it would only be available after 10 days. We need that money TODAY!!!
