On 2 April 2013 money was "deposited" into my cr card from a Std Bank cheque acc. but has never reflected in my account. During 5 trips to Std Bank to try "find" this money, I have made a trip to Absa Brooklyn and Menlyn branch where I was told that it is a Std Bank problem and Absa could not help me. I have now, after 3 months, and after posting a complaint about Std Bank on Hello Peter, have been contacted by Std Bank. They have spent the morning sorting out my complaint, have spoken to Absa and have given me a tel. no. and ref. no. and told that Absa will finally be able to help me find my money in their bucket account. On calling the number and after battling to get to speak to someone - I was told that I should take my proof of payment and all my other details into the bank and someone will help me - I DID THIS - MONTH'S AGO - AND WAS TOLD AT ENQUIRIES THAT THEY CAN'T HELP ME - WHY DO I NEED TO GO AGAIN!!!

All this from a bank who sent me an sms stating that I can collect my new cr card at Brooklyn branch and when I got there was told that it wasn't there yet - from a bank who's forex dept can't sort out a small problem with an international deposit. Makes one think!!
