I purchased a Honda F-RV in 2007 financed by standard Bank with residual, i have now paid all the 59 instalments and in October 2012 a lady from Vaf called to find out if I wanted to refinance the residual value where I responded by saying I wanted the RV to be financed. The problem now started when Standard Bank did not deduct the first instalment into the RV agreement, i called Standard Bank Vaf department and a lady whom i cannot recall her name answered the phone where I voiced my concern. She apologised and told me a debit order was not loaded and the error will be rectified on their side and I made a manual payment, I asked her if I should make manual transfers/payments monthly or the bank will debit my account and she assured the bank would debit. came second month I had the very same problem where I sent an e-mail and repeatedly did that for about 4 following months and in each month I would be getting a response that someone will contact me and no one ever had the audecity to call me, on the 5th month I decided I should continue with payments as areas were now becoming high now I received summons for judgement against me and want to repossess the car.
