Furniture City's continued inefficiency!

Following the report I posted yesterday about Furniture City's inefficiency with regards to honouring my delivery, I have yet again been dealt with another insult from them.

The drivers only got to my door well after 8pm- this after I had recieved an SMS from them confirming that my delivery would be at my door in the MORNING!

This morning, I recieved an abrupt call from their response centre. The guy said something about "investigating further". THERE IS NOTHING TO INVESTIGATE! They just need to jack up their act and ensure that their distribution capacity is geared towards meeting customer expectations.

I then received another call from the store SALESMAN, who said he was asked by his Reginal Manager to call me and apologise. He then offered me a voucher for R1000.
I spent R40 000 on the furniture, HOW DARE THEY think that R1000 would make me for get that I

1. Waited all day
2. Missed work
3. Dealt with RUDE distribution people.

If I do not recieve a written apology from the MD, I will go to their Sandton offices next week- with my lawyers. I want them to come and collect their furniture, and cancel my account. Enough is enough!

There are other good retailers out there!
