I created a new account with FNB and I was in side of the bank and handed the papers over to the consultant what helped me to open my account with FNB, the papers from ABSA to confirm what are my debit orders and I was assured that my debit orders will be pulled over to my new FNB account with no problems and also my employer will be notified of my movement of my account.
Last week my salary was still payed into my old account - any one can make a mistake. I just transfered the last amount of my funds from Absa to my FNB account.
This morning I have two debit orders running of my old account with ABSA and I have a penalty fee against me of R205. Who must pay for this negligence that FNB assured me that they will make the move of my account over to FNB to make it easy for me as the consumer?
MTN R399.00
AXXESS R195.00
CBP capitalisation R205
