I have been banking with FNB for approx 8 years, i have not been a happy customer.its either bad attitude or ridiculous bank charges that consultants cant explain. I own a cheque account wih FNB which i pay a monthly fee of R97.00. Constantly my account has an overdraft of -R253.00-this matter is recurring. Ive riched a point were im gaatfull with this account, all they seem to know is take our money for what i dont know. i am forced to withdraw all my money out of my account after debit orders have gone through and leave R200.00 for what i dont know. Today i went to the branch in Melrose Arch, a very sweet kind consultant assisted me. i asked her what are the charges for cos as far as i know R97.00 is monthly fee, the rest? she responded R97.00 for cheque acc, R57.00incidental fee, R8.00 incidental fee, R30.00 incidental fee, R3.97 incidental fee, R90.00 debit order i do not know, R2.32 in on debit balance hello!!! i then asked her to explain to me what all those charges are for she said i quote "they incidental fees".im so tired of fnb-really tired. Im leaving FNB for CAPITEC.
