I was interested in signing up with dial direct for car insurance. I spoke to Jenilee Whittaker who made it a point to state that Dial Direct received the consumer service award 3 years in a row and she appeared helpful at first... that was until she got my banking details.
The phone cut before we could finalise the details of the policy and she sent an email stating that she will call me back at a convenient time. I sent emails to follow up on the matter & to attend to finalising the policy, and to date I have not received a response. On Monday 29th April, I noticed that the the premium was deducted off my account.
My concern is I was also that the details regarding the insurance, including, where inspection will take place, tracker and the blue tooth device, would be relayed to me, and again to date, this has not happened. One thing she did mention is that if I don't attend to the tracker installation and car inspection, my car will not be insured.
For the life of me, please tell me how I can attend to this if you have failed to inform me of same? You are only interested in your fee and don't give a about my piece of mind.
The insurance industry is a farce!
