ZERO to HERO with one employee

Without going into too much detail, I have had some serious problems with Groupon SA and some of their staff. It had gotten so bad that I was strongly considering never using them again (Note: I use them quite regularly and often get my friend family to purchase the same items I have purchased.)

Then I dealt with Mr. Elroy de Klerk. What an absolutely fantastic experience!

He immediately took ownership of the issue and committed to resolving it, All the while remaining friendly and never once trying to shrug off the problem or blame someone else, even though I do not believe he was responsible for the issue in any way.

He changed my opinion of Groupon SA from zero to HERO in a few short minutes with a couple of calls and an email or two, and of course the fact that my issue was resolved and stock received first thing the following morning [I only spoke to him at 4pm].

Now that I know that Groupon does have employees like this, I will never again hesitate to press or recommend the BUY NOW button.
