I logged an email request on 29 April at Groupon for the cancellation of two "Fun in the sun: Combo ticket access to Wet 'n Wild and uShaka Marine World (R99)". The money could be added to my Groupon credits.

I received a short response stating "Please note we do not refund for event vouchers. Please see terms and conditions".

So I checked the terms and conditions. Groupon terms and conditions re event vouchers specify: In respect of Groupon coupons which are redeemable for a ticket or admission toa specific ticketed event ("Event Coupons") - Event Coupons shall have no value once the specific event date and time has passed. Event Coupons are only refundable ONLY (i) by request until midnight on the day of purchase; (ii) automatically if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, and (iii) upon request if event is rescheduled.

How is entrance to uShaka a ticketed event by that classification? I did not have to use the tickets on a specific date and time. They were valid from 1 March 2013 - 21st June 2013. So it was a wide-open discounted voucher. I cannot use the tickets so it is reasonable to ask for credits.

Please assist.
