We requested cancellation of our membership in May 2012, and were refused because we had not been members for 5 years. The levy statement in Oct 2012 was about 40% up on 2011 which was shocking. so we have been refusing to pay. Recently i established that we HAVE now been members for 5 years but can't resign because we are not fully paid up. We are disputing this amount (for 2013) and would like to reach an agreement about this - when we have negotiated an exit strategy..
Our timeshare history seems to be shared with many others - from Multi -resort to CRI and now flexi club. Each switch was with aggressive sales techniques and threats of losing everything if we don't switch - and every time we felt cheated afterwards. We are very unhappy and not interested in continuing.
I have spoken to Flexi club a couple of times and told them we want out. I was given a not functional email address to send a resignation letter to. Recently we've had numerous calls from flexi club and when we answer they ring off. if we try the number there is no reply. This morning we were informed by sms of legal action. When we got through and asked to speak to a manager he was not in.
