I joined Flexi Club in 2011 as with every one unsupecting of this lovely scheme. In August 2012, I lost my job, so I had to stop paying all my service debts like policies, which of course lapsed, medical aid and of course Flexi Club. I wrote to them to tell them that I could no longer afford the fees and forwarded proof. Alas, they were not interested in my painful situation, all they wanted was their money.
I asked the consultants who were harassing me everyday what I should pay them with since I cannot afford. They said I must make arrangements with my family to pay, I thought this is insane, thats when I realised that this is.
They have been sending me smeses to pay or they will take legal action. I told them go to court and charge me becuase I will not pay I do not have money. Recently a friend sent me a whats up to say Flexi Club sent summons through the sheriff to my friends address where I squated for a few months before I finally relocated because i could not afford rent.
Flexi Club please give me that law that says I cannot opt out of your contract if I am not earning income to pay your fees. Maybe I will pay then. Hope medical aid does not ask me to pay.
