On Sunday, my boyfriend and I decided to take the MyCiti bus on an outing for the day. This had only been my second time on the MyCiti bus, my first time having been two weeks prior, and I absolutely loved it. We hopped on at the Sunset Beach station and took a lovely trip to town, and because I am always driving to town it was very refreshing being able to see the beautiful fauna and flora of our beloved country, while my boyfriend relaxed while reading his Lee Childs novel. When we reached the Civic Centre, we decided to travel to the Waterfront which was surprisingly easy with the help of two friendly gentlemen by the names of Allen and Walied, whom equipped us with all the knowledge we needed to know of how to travel using the simple and easy transport system. No bus tickets, no falling to the back of the bus whilst the driver hands you your change, no shaking windows or gum stuck on your seat. Just a simply tap and away you go. I haven't used public transport in roughly 6 years and would rather walk than use mini bus taxis and trains, but if the MyCiti bus were ever to travel the places I needed to be, I would park my car without a second thought...
