Extremely Poor service

My Sister, who suffers with crohns disease, encountered several problems whilst booked on the regular daily Virgin Flight to London. Firstly she had requested a window seat and this was not originally provided. Then, in the Airport the passengers sat for several hours before an announcement was made that the flight was to be delayed by an unspecified problem. They were then sent, late at night to the City Lodge to await departure in the morning. It is quite obvious from the time of the delay that the problem was always going to take more than a few hours to fix. Why then, did the Airport staff arrange accommodation earlier, in order that they could get a reasonable nights sleep in the hotel. additionally, my Sister had booked a wheelchair to and from the plane, but nothing was provided for the hotel trip. The distance to her hotel room was large and she was completely exhausted on arriving there. She phoned me at one in the morning in a very distressed state..
I feel particularly bad about this, because it was I that suggested Virgin to her in the first place. The lack of information and assistance was appalling and we do not expect this kind of thing from any company run by Branson
