Half of the pay points at Trade Route Mall is inoperable and the ones that do work do not take the "new" R5 coins. The R5 coins have been in circulation for a couple of years now and for the pay points not to accept them is unacceptable. The pay points do not make allowance for people that do not carry change as it does not take R50 notes nor credit cards. With technology advancing I think that Trade Route Mall should advance as well.
on many occasions I didn't have change and was left to go around the entire mall to get the correct coins from stores which were not obliging resulting in more time spent as the mall unnecessarily and having to pay more for parking due to the archaic system. It will be beneficial not only for myself but for all patrons of Trade Route Mall if the pay points are upgraded to keep abreast with new technology.
