Outstanding Refund for cancelled flight - Oct 2012

We booked and paid for a flght between Malaga and Genoa. Airline cancelled flight and we had to pay to get another flight. Was told that the refund would take 12 weeks. To date no feedback on refund. Have sent a number of emails and made telephone calls - no response. I am told that Flight Centre must wait on the airline. However, I paid my money to Flight Centre and had to fork out additional money for the second flight. Sent over a dozen emails in this regard and unless I phone, I do not get any response. When I phone the response is they are awaiting feedback from the airline. This is just rediculous
