My husband booked a return flight to Cape Town from Lanseria. On Sunday morning, 24 February, he missed his flight, 493, and made another on-line booking for Monday morning. When he checked in for his return flight on Wednesday, 27 February, flight 458, he was told that his booking for this flight has been cancelled, due to the fact that he missed his Sunday flight. Luckily there was one seat left, which he took, but he had to pay in a R1000 to get this booking. I find this totally unacceptable and ridiculous. Who gave Kulula authority to cancel this flight? If he didn't want to fly back, he would have cancelled his booking. And then also to charge my husband extra for something that Kulula messed up with? How can Kulula think this is fair?
