My husband and many others booked on Kulula flight (MN 0701) from Cape Town to Durban on 03/01/2013 at 10.35 a.m. had the unfortunate experience of a delayed flight, which eventually departed at 8.15pm that evening. There was no valid reason given and after a long wait a voucher for R65. was given for a meal after which was changed to R130 per person (after some complaints) I think it is very unsatisfactory to ignore passengers - elderly, small children and emergency flights were booked by travellers. My husband is GP and Trauma doctor in Durban who was supposed to attend his medical rooms and thereafter the traumma clinic and was stranded at the airport. Further more we were only informed whle on the flight (10hrs) later that there was a problem with a part so another fllight had to reschuled. The attitude of the staff at the airport was simply not acceptable and their so called compensation is yet to be seen.
