On a flight from OR Thambo to Port Elizabeth on the 30th of January 17:00 I excused myself from my seat as there was a large lady next to me and I could not sit in the seat any longer. I did not want to hurt her feelings so I left quietly. Unfortunately no other seats were available so I requested the air hostess at the back of the plane if I could sit on the staff seat until we landed. She agreed if I return to my seat when the seatbelt light comes on. Just before landing time the air hostess in charge set off on a tangent toward me because she felt I was discriminating towards my fellow passenger and that I should return to my seat and ask the big lady to move up so that I could fit. I explained that I did not want to hurt her feelings, but she became personal telling me that I was fat myself and that I had no right insinuating someone else was, she told me that I was fat myself even though I am about 10 sizes smaller than my fellow passenger. She told me I should purchase a business class ticket in future if I wanted to be comfortable, when I said the other passenger should do that rather than me she then accused me of discrimination as the other passenger couldnt afford it.
