Highly uncumfortable flight

On Monday the 30th December 2013 I flew with Mango airlines from Cape Town to Johannesburg on flight JE144 (departure 11:35). When I arrived at my seat which was a centre seat I discovered that the passenger next to me (isle seat) was a very large fellow. He had the arm rest up and was taking up a large part of my seat. Not wanting to make a scene I said nothing. The flight attendants never ask for the armrest to be lowered during take-off and landing. I spent the next two ours very uncomfortable and barely able to move.

On arrival in Johannesburg I went to the desk to complain. I was told by the lady that spoke to me that this was a staff training issue and it would be addressed. I provided her with a picture of the gentleman and the excessive amount of hand luggage that he had. I left my number with her. 15 days later I have yet to be contacted.
The reason for my complaint is that I have a friend who flies frequently. He is overweight and is always charged for two seats. The gentlemen that I flew next to took up a large part of my seat and put me in an uncomfortable position. The staff from check in to baggage collection chose to turn a blind eye.
Not acceptable.
