i've been using bus services for years however Intercity express from Margate to Pretoria is the WORST bus service ever!!!
the bus smells badly (i've used it a number of times and if it doesnt smell of pee then it smells of feet)?! also, the bus always has delays for which the driver doesnt apologise to us passangers. today from Pta to Margate we were supposed to arrive at 6 am, at 6:15 we were still in port shepstone and the driver filled gas without even asking/ informing us. we are already late and we are still filling gas??? this is supposed to be done when the passangers have all arrived at their destinations.
also, within the bus there was this zinc like crackling noise. the whole 10 hours we were annoyed by this sound???
seats??? where do i begin??? half the seats in the bus are broken and cannot recline. for R380 per ticket i EXPECT comfort! i cant sit upright for 10 hours!!!
this bus service is taking advantage just because its the only bus from margate to pta, you better start showing your clientelle some RESPECT!!!
