I had an expired British passport and needed to travel to the UK in Feb 2013. Because I had an expired passport, the Brisith consulate wouldnt grant me a visa - I had to apply for a new British passport. After getting all the necessary info and paying Visalogix - I was told it would take around 8 weeks for the new passport to be arrive. It is now a year later and I still dont have my new passport nor my expired passport. This jeopordized my work as well, as I was supposed to go to the UK for business.
After numerous e-mails and telephone calls to the Dunkeld branch - In November 2013 I got told that my passport was lost and I would have to apply for another passport. I have had no assistance or correspondance as to what had happened / why it has happened. Nobody has bothered to liase with me regarding a path forward - and to date I cant travel to the UK as I cant even get a visa. In December 2013 - I had an affidavit stamped & signed by a Commisioner Of Oaths regarding this so called " lost / passport" - I have submitted it to Visalogix this year, asking what the path forward is and to let me know what else is required to sort this problem out. Still I wait for some answer!
