I went to the Randburg department of home affairs to register for a temporary passport, I spoke to a lady by the name of Caroline Qabazi whom I was informed is the manager in charge, I informed her that Me and my partner would like temporary passports as we have won a trip to another country and we need the passport to confirm our booking for the trip next year February. She asked me if I had requested a temporary passport before and I told her that I did in 2011 and she told me that I do not have a choice but to get a permanent passport but this was not my request, I need a temporary passport and should not be forced to get a permanent passport if I do not want to currently. Firstly I do not have the funds to afford a permanent passport and secondly I should not be forced to get one. I am not someone that travel a lot and I do not need it. I request and plead for someone to help me get a temporary passport as soon as possible.
