DELAYED FLIGHT

On the 05/01/2014 I was flying back to Lanseria to Durban for the 8:10pm fight 539.(PGMITE)
At 12:10pm I received an sms saying that the flight is delayed and will be departing at 20:45pm
At 5:15pm I received an sms saying that the flight will depart at 21:15pm
By then I was worried because I had already paid for the taxi from midrand to Lanseria which was R300 and from Durban airport to phoenix which was R200. I called the taxi and asked to change the time but he was fully book and I knew I lost my money.
At 5:30pm I received another sms saying that the flight will depart at 21:55pm
I called the call centre and waiting so long to get to an agent, when I finally did I explained my situation and asked if I could change the flight to the next day, the agent said they can but it will cost me and I explained that this is an inconvenience to me and still I should pay!!!
I had to then inconvenience family who had work the next day to take me to the airport. I got checked in and went down to the gates and then boarded the plane which left at 21:40. Had I been few minutes late I would have missed the fight as the sms said fight will depart at 21:55pm
