I am not a frequent flyer and have booked a return ticket to fly with Mango from PE-JHB-PE. Whilst doing the online booking we chose the option to pay for a specific seat. We paid the extra R70 for the two flights. On both occasions whilst doing an online check-in I was assigned to a seat I didn't choose beforehand. Luckily with the first flight I was able to change to the seat I originally picked and paid for. I wasn't so lucky with the return flight. I paid to sit in 3F and was given 30C. Changed to seat to the nearest available: 6F.
Your online check-in system doesn't work, or doesn't synchronize with the online booking system. This is very unfortunate and quite a nuisance. Maybe I did something wrong with the online check-in process, but then you need to communicate that clearly to someone who doesn't fly frequently. Why pay for something you don't get? I ask that you will refund me for this asap!
