I had a confirmed ticket from Air France for an upgrade to seat pus on a flight from Paris to Johannesburg (this confirmation even had the seat number).
When i tried to check in online, this option was not given, and informed me that i could purchase this online. When i arrived at the airport, i was told at the ticket desk that i had no confirmation, i then gave them the confirmation letter (with number), and they said sorry, there was nothing they could do.
I was extremely upset about this, as i had paid the additional cost for a seat upgrade, only to be told "sorry, there is nothing we can do".
Pathetic... i am sure i will get a response from Air France, stating they apologise and will give me a refund, but it states... check the terms and conditions... ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY... ITS ABOUT OVERBOOKING ON AIRLINES
