During the course of December 2012 and January 2013 we booked around 4 flights with SAA.
Date 24 December -SA 476 from East London to Jhb Airbus A319 dumped us on the run way in Jhb. It felt like the wheels where going to come off. Pilots comment. Sorry Guys. Take it up with the manufacture of our SAA airbuses. Something had gone wrong.
Date 24 December - SA 234 Flight Johannesburg to England. Departed 4 hours late. People where left standing. Boarding staff issued around 10 different statements. Finally it came out that they needed to repair the aircraft and the there where huge issues with the catering that had messed up. No management came down to explain only the captain of the craft who addressed us before we departed. Guess management went off for Christmas. Additional cost for transport from Heathrow to Bath 200? and we missed Christmas lunch.
Our Christmas Eve dinner well can say the least really sucked we got the same for breakfast.
DATE 06 January SAA 235 Heathrow to JHB. Aircraft air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning. We sat for 11.5 hours in a very stuffy. The air was so bad my wife ended up throwing up. Repeated request where made to adjust the aircon.
