SAA cancelled mine and my wife's overseas business flight and never notified me of the cancellation. I arrived at the airport at 6am only to be told that the flight had been cancelled. SAA say they sent out an email but this was never received by my email server. I was then forced to pay R36000.00 to buy two new tickets on Emirates Airlines as I had a business appointment that I could not miss. Another passenger on the same flight also arrived at the check-in counter only to be told the same story. SAA refuse to take responsibility for this. Why should SAA's incompetence cost me R36000.00???
