SafariNow nearly ruined our holiday

Don't waste your time with these guys. I booked accomodation in Mozambique for peak season through [URL Removed] I specifically booked 4 months in advance. I paid a 50% deposit to [URL Removed] to secure the booking. I received a confirmation of the booking. Thinking my holiday was now secured I relaxed and planned the diving activities with a dive charter. 3 months later I get a phone call from [URL Removed] to inform me that the owner of the accomodation will not honour the booking. They did not give me a reason. When I asked who had my deposit, they told me the accommodation owner had it. They also told me they would source me alternative accomdation. I emailed the owner of the house who informed me that [URL Removed] had not paid over the deposit. (Ie they) so he rented it out to someone else. SafariNow also failed to find me alternative accommodation. I had to do that myself. They also phoned me and tried to shift the blame to the house owner, saying that he didn't give them a proper invoice (completely forgetting about their that they had already paid the money over). I did get a refund but they almost flopped my vacation!
